Sometimes, we have do thing we don't want to, but make the most of it.
Sometimes, we get shit from people that we probably don't deserve, grin and bear it.
Sometimes, we just get so swamped with work its depressing, you'll be done with it soon enough.
Sometimes, we feel empty and get lonely, shrug it off.
Sometimes, we're just plain confused, follow your heart.
Sometimes, we just don't wanna do it anymore, just keep pressing on for awhile longer.
Sometimes, we need an escape, take a deep breath.

So to all my dear friends, who're feeling down.
When we're down, things can only start looking up.
lets just start climbing up right ?

i feel like some part of me is missing. (but they're just earphones.)
i'm gonna miss my own private world of music while i'm in the bus or mrt,
when i'm bored or when i need to relax.

i punched the wall last night. the wall feels my pain.
shit.
being emo over earphones is cool okay.

looks like i've to save up another 100+ bucks
for another pair of earphones/headphones to share my time with.

Was kinda set thinking by today's screening of 'Pleasantville'
The film is about a brother and a sister, getting sucked into a black and white world, where everything is perfect. And how they, with their imperfections bring colour to the world.

so it kinda got me thinking.
That we all kinda do live in our own black and white world, in our own safe bubble of what we think is acceptable and what we believe to be right.
But are we overlooking the outside world, missing the color we don't see ?
At times, we're so narrow minded, we ignore what other people are going through and forget to put ourselves in their shoes. so well, add color to your mind.

Yet another point, about change.
We so often fight change, like in the film, how the B&W people outcasted the colored people.
We often feel too comfortable at where we are to move out of our comfort zones into something new, okay. not often, always. But if we keep on living in our perfect little world, not wanting to budge, how are we supposed to grow into better people ?
It's never easy though, but hey, change makes life interesting doesn't it ? otherwise everything would be in black and white.

Our imperfections are in a way, our perfect parts.
nobody's perfect, so in a way, our imperfections define us and make us who we are.
Never despise someone for their imperfections, because you've always take a look at yourself first.

we are, our own colors, our own persons.
The salt and light of the world.

I'm kinda inspired to write.
about living life with a passion.

I can't help but to notice people around me living like dead people.
with all the "uuuughhhh.... work...." "ugh...... project...."
its understandable, but what happened to the thing called fighting spirit ?
where's the "ah man, bring it on, i'll do it" ? we let ourselves go about everyday with a frown on our faces, dragging our feet everywhere we go.
there's no more passion in our lives.

2 years back i promised myself to be someone that brings joy to the people around me,
i swore never to intentionally hurt someone, and to wear a smile on my face.
okay, maybe i haven't kept to that completely, but it made me who i am today, and i'm happy with that.

its a conscious effort, to keep your head up and spirits high, but its way worth it.
like they say, its all in our heads. wake up and think you're gonna have a shitty day and well, you do. but wake up and smile narcissisticly at the mirror ? much better. try it.

but whats living with passion ?
its simply a zest for life, living as an optimist and a realist at the same time, bearing it all with a smile on.

so guys, eyes open, chins up. and lemme see those grins on your faces.
you can do it !

went for Phua's combined CG event yesterday, at the botanical gardens.
It was fun, its cool to see how other zones work i guess. hahaha

I'm back from camp phenomena !
actually i just woke up. its 8pm, i was back at 1pm. sorry. hahaha
BUT, I had an amazing time. There was the fun, the stickiness and the tiredness
but whats important is the presence of god.
I had with me in camp,
one Yixin
one Brandon
one Joan.

well, i just hope they all had fun, at least i know yixin and brandon did. hahahaha
and i saw SOMEONE fall under the power of god. SOMEONE *coughyixincough*
but yeah, the night session for the 1st day was awesome, 3 times, i fell under the power.

Alright, camp phenomena's coming in about uh, 3 days ?
hahahaha I'm really looking forward too, its gonna be mega fun
well, at least i'ma keep thinking that way, nothings fun if u have sucky expectations.ee

heheheh, i'm gonna be acting in a skit, by lifehouse, it leaves quite an impression.
But anyways, we had a practice for the skit today, earlier on.
halfway through the practice, this random dude came up to our group, and started talking to his reflection on the window, saying stuff like "But i don't know her !" and actually arguing with his reflection.
hahahaha i think he's like possessed or something, not in the joking way, but as in seriously. like, with a wrong spirit or something.
Cuz that place is commonly used by my church and all, so like, that guy has something wrong in him or something. mm mm. warfare.
Then, he came back again ! my gosh, he came to look at what we were doing, and exclaimed, "OH, so its these people !" and continued to mumble stuff to himself/reflection.
I couldn't help but to make quiet prayer for protection, or to be kinda interested at the same time.
well, it IS interesting. right ?

yeah. HOLIDAYS ! FINALLY !
